On Sunday, NFC’s English service heard the third message in Pastor Jeremy’s latest series from the biblical book of Ezra. This week, Pastor focused on Ezra 3:1-13 and challenged the congregation to obey God’s commands, start working toward God’s calling, and worship early and often. At each point, though, he pointed out that the Jews did these things despite significant challenges and far-from-ideal circumstances. The challenge, then, was to obey, start, and worship even though things might not be right just yet.
This coming Sunday, the message will be from Ezra 4-5.
