Announcements
- Anyone else have to scrape their windshields this week? For most of us, that meant putting on a coat, hat, and gloves. But for some families in our community, a coat, hat, and gloves are simply not in the budget. This winter, we want to share the warmth and love of Jesus in a supremely tangible way through a winter gear drive. NFC will be collecting coats, hats, gloves, boots, and snowpants to provide to families in our community. You can bring items to either English or Swahili service, or you can give a monetary donation to our Winter Gear Drive between now and December 14.
- There will be no Community Bible Discussion meeting this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Pastor Jeremy concluded our sermon series, entitled “Comeback Kids,” by looking at Romans 8:1-11 to discover the essential characteristics of the comeback God wants to give is people. Many people long for a comeback, but they do not want or expect the same things God wants. Therefore, they either do not recognize the comeback when it comes, or they miss it entirely. Moreover, every comeback may have any number of different elements – e.g., healing, victory over an enemy, restoration of fortune – but they will all have these two essential characteristics: freedom from guilt, shame, and sin; and real, abundant life.
