Pastor Jeremy searched Ephesians 2:1-10 to discover the nuts and bolts of how we are saved from our own sin and shame by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Along the way, we learned that we were dead in our transgressions. That is, even the little things we do that are not quite right separate us from God by making it impossible for us to have a relationship with him. But God, in his abundant love and grace, sent Jesus to the cross to provide the solution to our sin and open the door for reconciliation. He offered this to us freely because there is no way we can purchase or earn it for ourselves. We have only to receive this gift through faith in Jesus Christ. If we truly believe in Jesus, then we will respond to this grace by living into Christ’s character and command, doing good works as God intended for us to do. Catch the full message below!
