This week, our progress toward relaunch was a bit slower. The biggest milestone that we passed was cleaning out the church and parsonage and turning over the keys to the old facility. Certainly, this was a bitter thing, which we lament. However, as we discussed on Sunday, it is important that we both lament the loss of what was and rejoice over what God is going to do!
The search for a suitable meeting space continues. This is one of the leadership team’s top three priorities for the coming days. We hope to have some news on this very soon. In the meantime, please continue to pray earnestly that we find the right space, and if you have any ideas, please send them to Pastor Jeremy!
The second priority in the coming days concerns bank accounts. We are still waiting for the bank to process paperwork and such, but we hope to have more information on this soon as well. Stay tuned!
The third priority this week is editing our new bylaws. This is a tedious but essential process because the bylaws specify our core beliefs as well as how we will operate as an organization. Please be in prayer for the team that is working on this!
