In the first joint service of both New Foundation Church’s English and Swahili services, Pastor Jeremy preached from 2 Chronicles 14:1-15. In this passage, the faithful King Asa and Judah faced invasion by an overwhelming army led by Zerah the Cushite. Fortunately, the nation’s faithfulness during the good times enabled them to have faith when the invasion came. Asa therefore gathered his army for battle and then prayed for God to deliver. Pastor observed that we should be faithful in the good times if we want God to deliver us when the bad times come. Then, when we face overwhelming odds, we must do everything we possibly can and depend on God to do the rest.

Unfortunately, we were unable to record this week’s service.
